You are coinflippin against a bare set and 0.3 against the worst case scenario, why would you consider other lines against this villain? Iīve only played 2k but would imagine there isnt a player in a 3-handed 5k game this isnīt an easy push against. Expect him to call and coinflip it out but thems the breaks.

[/ QUOTE ] If you are really 0.3 against set + spades this is standard, I thought you would be in worse shape and I couldn't really think of a good line.

I don't think he would be cbetting here intending to fold all that often, however he doesn't need to.
You're risking 4k to win 6k, and i think if called every time you prolly lose 600 or so (assuming maybe 34% equity which may be pessimistic ) If he folds this ever, you are making money. I think you can stick in and hope its not a combo hand.

So why do I see Darwinism playing at 2/4 when he's playing at stakes like these? I remember seeing him on PP and I saw him at 2/4 PLO on Stars last night.

If he had AAxx w/spades whould he pot it? If he does then lay your hand down, but I think he's more likely weak and trying to buy the pot by representing AAxx so I like the check raise in this scenario. Even if he has AAxx then you're still OK and if he has AAxx w/spades then pray for it to come red.
Preflop is fine

I've played with darwinism a lot at 2/4 on stars...i was really confused when I saw him sitting subsequently with 20k in the 25/50 game.
I wasn't sure if he was just taking a shot at the 25/50 game (big shot considering he was like 3 tabling 400plo) or was a regular in the 5k game and was just joking around in the 400 game. Is he a regular in the 25/50?
