Default Party freerolls

Is it still possible for US citizens to play in Party freerolls that pay out real $? say, ones that use points? I'm trying to figure out if i should use my Party points to get a heap of crap I don't need or if I should just enter hit up the freeroll donkaments.

I just registered for one of the Party Points tourneys and it let me register...
Oh, and I am in the US

I tried to register for a freeroll with my party point and it would not let me.

I tried to register for one of the $250 freerolls and it declined my request per the US legislation. I wouldn't count on it.

Here's an idea...get the heap of crap and sell it on eBay to a bunch of idiots who like heaps of crap. Effectively a cash bonus.

37,500 points for playstation 2 seems like the best bargain in the store.

Well party had said that "certain freerolls" would be available...

They had been running $500 Freerolls in the play money touurnie section... which were paying out cash to top 10 of 15,000 players... but those stopped on the 12th.
