Re: % of Players that are winners here
[ QUOTE ]
im mainly a lurker ... but i deposited $200 in UB last month ran it up to $2500 and withdrew. this month i deposited $200 into party 4 weeks later im at $3700. but i dont know if im a winner or just running very hot. i would say 90% of regular strategy posters are winners/ not losing players. [/ QUOTE ] Playing on what stakes? For me, i'm mostly a lurker and am winning small stakes LHE player based on 150k hands in PT. Note, winrate is sth like 1.4BB/100 but I do believe it shows realistic picture ie. I am winning but have LOTS to learn |

Re: % of Players that are winners here
After about 50,000 hands I'm a 2bb/100 winner at .5/1 and 1/2. I think I kinda sucked before this sample. However, I was still winning about .8bb/100 over 50,000. I changed my play quite a bit for the better between these samples. Whatever though, I played B&M tonight and played like a total fish. B&M makes me want to shoot myself in the face though.

Re: % of Players that are winners here
well there was a thread in MSNL where 2p2'ers outted their PP names and it seemed as though every solid/good winning players name was posted in that thread.

Re: % of Players that are winners here
I am a winner. 5 years running. But if you broke it out on an hourly basis, the labor department would prosecute me for violating minimum wage laws.

Re: % of Players that are winners here
Who really knows? But as a gambler the safe bet is that it is a higher concentration than anywhere else.
Who cares what the number is? People are actively tring to improve their game. That is alot more than 95% of the players you meet do. I would think that there is a large break even to slightly losing group as well. And this would be well above the norm of players overall. I'm a lurker and I only play limit(.25/.50) 2.7bb/100 online. Live in FL poker(yes thats right the seventh ring of poker hell) I crush these supposedly unbeatable games for 4bb an hour according to my notes (not much but I tip every hand over 3 bucks profit and spend at least 12 bucks on drinks/tip each trip and those are losses). Tip the guy who gets my chips and if the floor seats a hot girl next to me a buck goes to them. |
