Default Juiciness of Sites : post legistlation

wondering how everybody is finding the ring games at US friendly sites.

I played a bit at poker stars at 100nl and my god its a rock garden. even with increased traffic it seems really tight. I guess their deposit limits make it hard for bigger fish to just dump cash on to site to play higher games it seems. sux....

dont know about FTP yet.

Im canadian so i played a bit at party. im sad to tell the us players... the ring game is still 100 hundred times better than pokerstars. less traffic but the players are still just as lagtardy. still calling off stacks with mid pr. they have a 50% bonus right now too.

i know its too soon to tell but it look like party poker is still running best games. personally i think the pokerstars interface sux. especially the table selection tool. i like party's filter that allows you to zero in what you want.

anyways feedback appreciated as we all adjust to the changes in our world

Hypothesis: as it becomes more difficult for U.S. players to deposit, those players tighten up (maybe not even conscious they are doing so) in an effort to conserve bankroll. An unintended result is that they become even more vulnerable to the EuroLAGS. Maybe the rock garden effect you are seeing on PokerStars is this tightening up of U.S. players?

He can still play at Party. But if he goes outside of his house, he'll realize that he lives in Canada. Yikes!! Better to live in a virtual world.

I think this is a bit uncalled for. Just because the players in the US (of which I am one) are pissed at Party, doesn't mean we have the right to start ripping on players from other countries.

we are from the U.S., the land of the free, (except with respect to gambling...).

we always have the right to rip on other countries! in fact i think it's encouraged!

i hear those stupid brits are enjoying our absence. nothing but fish at the tables now.

I'm not upset at all that I can't play at Party. I called him an idiot because even the brits who can still play their are crazy to do so. Now you have the worst card room on the net without all the traffic that had everyone playing there. When the op taunts us about something that he shouldn't be happy about...well that makes him an idiot. All I did was apply the label.

Well party now has micro stakes so that may send the fish that are left lower than I care for (and I play LOW). The Sunday Mill is no more, next Sunday it is the $200k.

Only good new is the tournaments are starting earlier to suit the Europeans. It is a bit quiet without you all...but the new reload bonus (12X hands not 10 as usual for 15%, not 20%, may get me back there for a hand or two).

FTP looking better and better with deposit bonus and rakeback.

Party is the second biggest online poker room there is. Hardly lacking traffic. I think the impact of 'American fish' on the site has been vastly overstated. Their loss is more than balanced out by the absence of so many 12 tabling hudbots.
