Check up for a common situation
Hi all,
Looking for some feedback on a pretty common situation. Both of these hands were played at the same table maybe 25-40 hands apart. 10/20 6 man. CO opens (30/14, avg agg, maybe a bit below Avg), I 3 bet ATo on the button. Heads up to the flop of: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check, bet, call 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Check, Check 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Check, check. Hand 2: High-jack opens (32/14 avg agg), I 3-bet A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the button, heads up to the flop of: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Check, bet, Call 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check, check 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Bet, call Are most of you guys betting these turns and if so what are you doing the rest of the way if raised? Thanks |

Re: Check up for a common situation
Are you Bubbles? wtf?
I'd fold preflop first hand, but not a big deal. Postflop is fine. I'd bet/call the turn in hand two. Your line is fine too. |

Re: Check up for a common situation
Folding pre-flop in hand 1 = holy crap no.

Re: Check up for a common situation
These look fairly standard to me. It takes a better read to know in hand 2 if I want to bet turn and check the river but having a gutterball with your pair means no folding to a checkraise so your line looks fine.
