So a lot of us are being screwed by Party affiliates.

I was thinking the best course of action is to report them to Party, so their affiliate account will get shut down and they won't get the October rake, etc.

nicholas-
i appologize for my ignorance but what is CPA? my affiliate said she had an amount in her account for me but it was about half of what i expected. she also said she wasn't able to transfer it to my party account because party is not allowing transfers to u.s. citizens, but that she could transfer it to a friend of mine with a party account outside the u.s. i understand the transfer stuff to be true, but what could explain the amount being so low (is the CPA thing possible)?

cpa = cost per acquisition

an affiliate can be paid a set amount, say $75, per player that signs up and deposits with their code

otherwise, they choose the revenue share plan, where they get a % of each player's mgr for life

your affiliate would have signed u up under the revenue share plan, but if they signed up anyone under cpa, then their account may be on hold

as for discrepancies in amount: there is 5% party maint fee taken off, along with bonuses being deducted, monster rake not counting, etc

there is no rakeback at party poker, but those who do it 'underground' should not be transferring it via party transfer or they will be tagged pretty quickly and shut down; they usually would pay via neteller or some other service

the cpa thing does not affect your payment amount; bonuses and monster rake and 5% fee could be the culprit

yes, accounts have been paid, but the transfers are now unable to be processed to us players. so if that was your means of rake back payment, it is now impossible. your affiliates can still cash out the money and send to your neteller or by check, so if they havent yet, your gettin screwed.

Well a certain affiliate claims he has not be paid but to some "members" that have low MGR he pays them normally (out of his pocket he claims..). Of course interaccount transfers is not the way its done. Is there ANY affiliate that has not been paid on party this month (not those of CPA plan)? I would appreciate if you could let us know.
