Default Hollywood Poker and Pokerroom support staff confirm

Support staff from both sites have confirmed that the above two sites will stay in the US market after the online gaming bill is signed. I talked to both sites via live support chat found on the my account deposit page.

I can confirm as well that I received the same information from support at PokerRoom earlier this evening. I did not post it because I was told to wait for their official statement to be released.

I have about 1,000 points to go for my $500 so I really hope this sticks for a little while.

Bwin, which controls the Ongame network that both sites use, has announced it's banning US players. I don't see how Hollywood and PokerRoom can overcome this.

I just have to laugh. I was happy when I heard that from the support, but I knew the real tale would be today when the bill was signed into law. Didn't take them long to come to the real, and expected, answer now, did it?

Bah! [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

This is going to get pretty interesting.

Full Contact Poker has also made claims that they plan on continuing business with U.S. players.

At least hollywood is giving you 30 days.

If pokerroom does the same I will be OK. All I want at this point is to clear my bonuses. Then they can [censored] off for all I care after that.

[censored] this [censored] sucks [censored]. [censored]!

If they do let us know ahead of time, make sure to use your player points for something. $50+5 SNG ticket is 3,000 points and a $100+8 SNG ticket is 5,500. Screw buying another bonus from this place.
