Hachem's hands in the air suck it to the crew when his river card hit was really professional.

"SEND THE MONEY HEAH!" should become the new "Pass the Sugah!"

I happen to like the "pass the shooga" line and Hachem. I agree he is a little into himself, but not to the point of Hellmuth. So he has a little ego, so what? The only time he got a little annoying was when he made a point of telling Dutch that every time Hachem was allin, he was ahead. That was slightly douchey. Anyone who knows poker, knows that Hachem was the better player, consistently getting his money in while ahead. No need to verbally state it.

I think Dutch played like a dink. I think the crew, especially Fischman, suck and are annoying. I hated to see Dutch suck out on that last hand and get picked up by his douchey friends.

Oh yeah, he's nowhere near as bad as Hellmuth. I just think the same traits that cause Hellmuth to act the way he does seem present in Hachem, albeit in a much milder form .

Ferguson is the anti-douche, isn't he? Dude never says a word.

Hachem's douche level has increased 200 fold since last year's main event, but he's still not as bad as a lot of others.

I agree and was thinking the same thing, as much as i want dutch boyd to get hit by bus, hachems actions were uncalled for and it seems he does it all the time, on limited stuff i've seen espn show him give players crap as well as slam his cards down etc. I know emotions get high, but it seems it happens more often than not... Plus his little jig to dutch was uncalled for.

At least Hachem doesn't sit there for a televised event with a big-ole gross purple hickey on his neck.

Classy, Dutch. Real classy.

When you win millions of dollars and gain international fame over a game of cards, it's kind of hard *not* to have your ego shoot through the roof.

From my view, Hachem seems like a plenty likeable guy that's doing the best he can not to let fame turn him into a douche.

Hard thing to do with the Main Event and poker itself being so popular.

to clarify, I wasn't saying that any of the past four ME champs were "douches" in any sense of the word; more that Hachem gets more and more annoying each time I see him on TV, and was just wondering if anyone got the same impression. Also, Dutch's behavior seemed better during the tournament at least b/c he reacted well to Hachem's comments about chip envy and braggin about how he got it in with the best of it, etc.

Like already stated in the other thread, Boyd had to have stolen a lot of small pots to continually double Hachem up yet still have him covered before each hand; I also thought Hachem's "put the money heah" bellow was idiotic and obnoxious.
