Firepay withdrawal fee

So with this recent announcement from Firepay, I decided to cash out my poker accounts in which I use firepay. So I go today to withdraw the funds from firepay to my checking account and they are charging me a $10 withdrawal fee. Are you fu**ing kidding me? Was anyone else surprised by this?

It has been discussed for a week here. It's Firepay's sleazy way of doing business. They are trying to milk the last bit they can.

Firepay has had this fee in place for a long time, they waive the fee if you have made a recent deposit, which is cheaper.

And they also increased the deposit fee from $3.99 to $5.99

Deposit any funds in your FirePay account onto sites that still allow US players. Close FirePay account. Withdraw monies into NeTeller.

i agree with mplunket...close your firepay account. on pocketfives, one of the sites moderators suggested mycitadel. i opened a mycitadel account and surprise! no fees attached.

I also got stuck paying a withdrawal fee with firepay! Like coach88 I tried signing up for a mycitadel wallet, and found that it was really easy to set up, and unlike firepay, deposits into the wallet are free.

Do most of the poker sites accept mycitadel?

Yeah, do a google search. They seem to be on all the major poker sites.
