Don't 3-bet the turn, though it could be for value at nickel dime. Definitely don't lead the river. This is complete spew.

PF: Standard.

Flop: Standard.

Turn: It seems the villain is not afraid of an overpair. Would he cap PF with 99? JJ? I don't know, if you don't have any reads about the villain I'd 3-bet. He could be playing his QQ and KK super agressively.

River: Definately c/c. A ten will crush you and both opponents could have you beat even without a ten given the action.

At these stakes I would 3-bet the turn. Check/call the river. I'm not sure this is complete spew (except the river). We beat KK/QQ which would play it the same.

You correctly identified my mistakes that could have saved me 2BB.
MP1 had JJ and MP3 got the straight.
I hate it when I get carried away like that!!

Why not 3-bet the turn? We are infront against a good share of MP1's range (AA-JJ, AKs) and MP3s dead money should make it +EV.

At some point you have to start thinking that maybe the villain isn't an idiot and can beat top pair. You donked into a pre-flop capper and got raised but not capped, what does that tell you? Unless villain is uber aggro he doesn't have Ax, so what pp do you think he has? On the turn he does cap you when a J falls, what does that say about his hand? The river puts 4 to a straight on the board what does that say about tp?

On the turn we could be against up a slowplayed KK, QQ. I'm not saying 3-betting is great, but I'm saying it's definitely not that bad (=spew).
