Re: Comments on QQ hand
I raise to $1 preflop. I raise to $2-$2.5 on flop. As played I call turn. River I fold.

Re: Comments on QQ hand
$1 PF, 3BB raises are for tournaments, PSR on the flop =$2.6. The turn and river cards are both pretty ugly, calling down seems ok.

Re: Comments on QQ hand
Preflop: I like a raise to at least 4x bb
Flop: A weakish bet like villain's must be raised, but a lot more than what hero raised. I'd raise this flop to $3 Turn: I play this the same. River: I'm not sure here. If I had to assign villain a range I'd say the hands in his range that we're beating are 77+ and a flushdraw. I can definitely see a flushdraw playing this way (donking all streets, flop and turn small compared to the pot, then upping it on the river when the draw is missed) and if it's a terrible player maybe we can sneak 77+ into his range. I don't think the preflop action can preclude villain from having a 6 or a 5, so they're still a factor. I guess calling or folding comes down to what hands you've seen villain show down and his betting patterns. Given the information in the OP I fold this. |
