Default edit* taking shots.

I play small ball. I've had the bankroll to move up to higher limits but I almost never make the move. I've even taken down a tourney for 5k. I've been primarily at 1/2 short with a couple weeks at 3/6 until I got frustrated at the amount of aggresion. (absolute). So I was talking to another player and he said to challenge myself. Ok is 10 bets enough to do this with? Should I up it to 20 bets? I'm just curious as to how others have made the move up limits. Thanks.

it's all about how much you are comfortable with losing.

i moved up to 109 sng's with 55 buyins, that is moderately risky. i spiked at 80 buyins, then dropped back to 45.

that scared the crap out of me and i moved back down to 55's.

If you have the bankroll, move up, and adjust. Pretty simple if you have the roll for it. You don't need to take a shot, just keep playing.

When I played a lot of limit I used to take 100 BB shots and if I won I stayed and if I lost I grinded at the lower levels again. I'm not sure that's the best way to do it but it worked for me.
