You have the low end of a straight, with multiple opponents, on a two tone board. Your hand is very, very vulernable. I mean, you don't even have the flop nuts. You have to bet the flop to charge them. It will also disguise your hand vs. various donks. If you had bet the flop, and just been flat called, you could have check folded that turn much more cheaply.

Remember--donks don't expect you to bet out with your flopped straight. Cause they'd go for the super cool check raise GOTCHA SHIP IT move. By betting, you may induce a bluff or semi-bluff, AND protect your hand by giving better draws improper odds to call.
