Default $100nl 6max OESD on turn 3-way, fire 2nd barrell?

Hello guys,

I'm a limit player trying to learn no limit and what I'm finding hardest to get to grips with is when to fire a second barrell. Any comments on any part of the hand below will be greatly appreciated.

UTG is 75/8/0.2 - loose but not a complete calling station
Button is 24/7/1

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($135.45)
Button ($73.70)
SB ($74.62)
BB ($264.60)
UTG ($219.90)
MP ($143.50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, 2 folds, UTG calls $3.

Flop: ($13.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $10, Button calls $10, UTG calls $10.

Turn: ($43.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero ???

I check the turn and hope to get the free card. You could very well bet 30-35 here and then get pushed by button then you end up having a $38 call into $110 (assuming UTG folds) pot with one card to come. Or there could even be a check raise brewing from UTG. Not sure i want to go broke here with one card to come in between 2 people who have called my flop bet. Pot is big enough, try to catch your river card cheaply.

Only other thing i *might* try is throwing out a real small bet to try to block button from betting me off my draw.

Not a huge deal, but I generally raise 4x + 1bb for every limper, so I make it $5 preflop. Probably doesn't change too much in this hand though.

That's a tough board to c-bet multiway, and you have a nice draw. I would check flop.

As played, a second barrell against two opponents here, particularly the button, I think is a spew. I would check and evaluate odds if button bets.

Another reason to check here: if you lead and get check-raised, UTG is definitely folding, and your pot odds fall to pieces and you'll regret having bet a second time. If you check, UTG might call, padding the pot very nicely.

Also, while I'd fire a second barrel against button heads-up, with three in the pot the odds of you folding them BOTH out are too slim to be worth chasing.

The one reason you might consider betting on a turn like this is that your hand has zero showdown value right now, so winning the hand immediately is a very nice coup. However, in this case the odds of winning immediately are too slim to be worth a second barrel.
