I imagine somebody has pointed this out by now, but...

right now, "hot topics" (with the flames by them) need to have either 15,000 replies or 500 views.

prolly should be 15,000 views or 500 replies.

It looks like we just had some kind of software change.

A bunch of little things have changeed. This might be a good thread to list them.

All threads are being shown as viewed already even threads with posts that I haven't viewed.

The software change is in-progress. So, these things should not be expected to be permanent.

Is there some reason that the little blurb at the top doesn't read something like this?

This was really bugging me, so for now I got that back using the Stylish Firefox extension. Just create a new style sheet for twoplustwo.com with the following:

@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document domain("twoplustwo.com") {

.newlighttable {
font-weight: bold !important;
}
.newdarktable {
font-weight: bold !important;
}

}

That seems to be close to how it was before anyway.
