Default ($60) ZOMG Curtains... OESD line check.

Is it just me or has this entier forum become completely retarded in the last week or so?

Maybe this will help

The below is from Curtain's Brilliant HHs [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

read - as far as I can tell - this is the first hand the villian limped, 3rd hand of the tournament - might be the 2nd game with villian who is 30/0 over 2 STTs at this level - meh - pretty readless.

I liked looking at this hand, because it made me think of other lines, that I don't normally take.

Ok here's my retarded analysis...

I might lead this flop, but I don't c/r it.

Is a check/call a leak?

If you don't lead the flop and hope to check it thru c/r > check/call.

Turn - I don't know if I like pumping up this pot anymore, but ZOMG it's curtains.

The paired turn helps represent a strong hand from the blinds.

River a set of 3s and a smaller str8 probably calls this, so I like it.

As played Do you check thru the river if you miss?

not a big fan of my play here. Honestly was probably distracted and thought it was 3 handed on the flop Dangers of trying to learn to 18 table or whatever.

I mean its really completely insane, the guy bets into 4 opponents, it is very likely that he has some kind of overpair. Wtf am I trying to make him fold for?

Im quite certain I thought it was 3 handed on the flop. Moral of the story....pay better attention. Its ok I had some small hiccups while trying to play 8 billion games at once, especially when first starting the sets.

Wasn't tilt, Im almost certain I didn't realize how many people were in the hand after the flop.

Basically the hand is totally retarded. I guess it can't hurt though that I can occasionally just go crazy for no reason. Find more hands man and post them!

I didn't like it when I first saw it, I posted it because I thougth there might be something out of the curtain's secret bag of tricks.

Someone pointed out they thought I was dissing you with this post, That was NOT my Intent - I was seriosly looking for some higher level thinking on how to play OESD out of the blinds in the early levels.

Thanks C

ehhh yea, I mean check calling is ok. Even check folding is totally fine because your hand is so poorly disguised if you hit. My line is bad, but I think it would be reasonable if it was just one limper against the blinds, but not one limper against 2 other limpers and the blinds.
