Default party gammon cheating?

This is an all too common situation at party gammon. I'm one roll from winning when my opponent leaves. He comes back just before the end of the 3 minute plus time period and moves, apparently hoping his opponent has left and will time out. Today when it happened, I typed in "nice try cheater, I'll be here for 3 minutes". Just before his time was up he typed "fu" to me and then moved and lost.

Since this cheap shot happens SO OFTEN, I suppose it's effective.
