I'm starting to wonder if this is more profitable against calling stations, so long as I only do it often enough that he can believe I have a hand and am not just trying to knock him off the pot. The only problem is that this could open up his flop calling range even more, since $0.50 flop bets made without pf initiative are a lot easier for a limping station to justify calling than a $2 cbet. What do you think? |

You could also just accept that you aren't going to win every hand and try to pick your spots better where you are almost certainly +EV.

Post flop is good. The second barrel is fine, most lower pairs will fold and you might get a queen to come along.
And preflop is disgusting. |
