Is Lego Star Wars 2 a lot of fun? [/ QUOTE ] I think it's great. the main part of the game isn't terribly difficult, but getting all the hidden stuff to get to 100% completion is pretty interesting and challenging. |

Geometry Wars for the Arcade is sweet but IMO Mutant Storm Reloaded is even better. It's not as stylish but there's more variety to the gameplay and you don't have to start over from the very beginning when you die. Of course since they're like $5 you should just get both.
Call of Duty 2 is a fantastic single-player shooter but as someone mentioned the sequel comes out soon, so I'd say either wait for that or at least wait for the CoD2 price to drop. it's a sweet, sweet game though. Oblivion is very pretty and fun in a dopey wander-about sort of way, but you'll probably get bored if you like games to be challenging. Condemned is definitely worth a look if you like atmospheric action horror games. The gameplay is a bit too simple, but very visceral since unlike in the vast majority of first-person games you fight mostly with melee weapons rather than guns. Also the game has awesome graphics and a few genuinely holy-crap scary moments. |

Re: Just bought an X-Box 360, game recommendations needed
Oblivion, Dead Rising, Ghost Recon Advanced War Fighter are all solid.
If you're looking to buy one of the original games (Call of Duty 2 in particular) in two weeks it's going to "go platinum" i.e. be $20 (probably 20). In a week and a half Splinter Cell Double Agent comes out, and in November theres Gears of Wars, Call of Duty 3, Rainbow six Las Vegas. All 4 are must haves. The new Tony Hawk game also comes out in November, Project 8, the graphics are amazing, but I'm not too into Tony Hawk games. Those should keep you busy for a while. |

Any of you guys have Hitman: Blood Money? Good/bad? The demo was so-so, but I liked previous Hitman games.
Oblivion, Condemned, Dead Rising = all very fun. Oblivion will undoubtedly take over your life though, so watch out for that. |

Not sure how much replay value it has, but it's fun the first time through. Nothing quite like shooting a cop in the head, stealing his clothes and getting away with anything.
