Good FREE DVD ripper/burner??

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good one that is also free and won't leave a watermark on the burned images? I've been looking all over, download.com etc, and either the program is a crummy trial version or doesn't actually burn or rip like it claims to do.

Does anyone know of any good ones? Or will I have to pay to get something that is any good?

I know of a free ripper (not offhand tho...too much whiskey)...but it only works for ripping straight iso's...so if u have single layer media and rip a dual layer disc, it won't fit.

Oh...dvdshrink will shrink it. can't remember the ripper app name tho. gonna have to check irc logs for it if nobody else chimes in. (sorry for the poor "tech support" but ummm it *is* friday night [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] )
