Re: Wow thought I was crazy but its called Restless Leg Syndrome
tl;dr, but I get this regularly when I'm very tired. Usually sitting on the couch watching tv. But once I go to bed, it's not a problem.

Re: Wow thought I was crazy but its called Restless Leg Syndrome
i get this once or twice a month. it drove me crazy at first but since my wife is a nurse and has every med known to man i just take a sleeping pill or a soma to knock me out cold.
but it is hard to describe. before i started knocking myself out on the rare occations i get it i would wind up walking around the apartment like a zombie. the mind is almost asleep but the legs just wont let the mind rest. i feel for people who have it all the time. it would be psycological torcher and id be a junkie from taking soma every night. |

Re: Wow thought I was crazy but its called Restless Leg Syndrome
I have this as long as I can remember.
If I am tired I always move my legs, sometimes also during the day (mostly in the morning). It doesn't really bother me. When I lie in bed I always move my feed, I can choose to stop moving my feed and knock rhytmically with my fingers. I play the drums, too, so it's probably rhytmical because of that. When I sleep in the same room with someone who doesn't know, I usually tell this, so they don't think I am jacking off. |

[/ QUOTE ] lmao! the fact that you didnt put a smily face after this makes it twice as funny. im in tears. also i think we are talking about 2 different things. jimmy legs (moving legs allot) and restless legs(legs feel wierd and keep you awake)-i could be wrong though. when i have restless legs i keep stretching my calves to the point of getting charlie horses trying to ease the wierd feeling. |

[ QUOTE ] Oh. I thought this "Restless Leg" business was just bouncing your knees while you are sitting.... [/ QUOTE ] Awesome, i'm glad at least one other person has or has had this problem. I feel less odd. [/ QUOTE ] I do this constantly, and it drives my roomates nuts. OP, have you tried running or something at night so as your legs are tired at night? |

I think I have a bit of this...I lay in bed and my legs feel like they need to be moving. It is really annoying, but eventually I get tired enough to go to sleep. It kind of reminds me of the wired feeling you get when you drink a lot of caffeine before bed and are trying to sleep. |

Man, it pisses me off. |
