$4/180 KK weak flop play?
Should I have re-raised the flop here? Turn fold I think is automatic.

yep, gotta raise that flop to make draws pay, I'd raise to 360 and see what happens.

I pussed out thinking one of them hit a set or 2 pair. Thanks for the slap in the face. I now feel dirtier than a congressional page as I should.

Re: $4/180 KK weak flop play?
I think you should have re-raised the flop, a $60 dollar bet is pretty weak, make a re-raise and find out where you are in the hand early. As far as the turn fold, I don't know, I might have called it but reads would have helped in order to make this decision. One of the villians could have a set but I see an A8 vs AQ or one of them has a pocket pair higher than the board but lower than your hand and th e other guy has junk. To me the BB re-raise looks weak so for me the call on whether to fold or call would have come down to a read.

Re: $4/180 KK weak flop play?
Raise the flop for value. This is a 4/180.
How has BB been playing so far? Those T60 bets are weak, and I see people make those bets all the time with hands like 2nd/3rd pair, overcards, TPWK, gutshot, random PP, etc. The turn raise looks like he's trying to isolate with some kind of mediocre hand. I'd be surprised if the turn didn't help MP2 in some way, but that doesn't mean he has a flush. Even if he does have a flush, the side pot is huge. I might find a fold here if I have a read on BB, but this early in a 4/180, there's still a ton of donkeys remaining in the field and I don't think BB has you beat often enough to fold. |

Re: $4/180 KK weak flop play?
yea early in a 4/180 ur lucky ur weak (ok weak may not be the right word-100 to 120 is ok with Ks in EP) preflop raise didnt get even more callers. they could have anything and coming over the top of the weak flop bet is mandatory.

Re: $4/180 KK weak flop play?
Raise the flop strong maybe 250-300, that small bet doesn't say anything about BB's hand, he may be trying to see a cheap turn or maybe he is trying to trap you. If you don't raise you don't get any info and if a spade appears on 4th street what you gonna do? Like played turn is a very easy fold.
Regards. |
