Not really. I have a BSME, and I work in software development (I also have an MSCS, but it's in an unrelated field to where I'm currently working).

HA - one of the job I'm looking at right now is in sales.

It just barely nets 30k.

Note: This is in Buffalo though. I'm sure a similiar position would pay substantially more in other parts of the country.

My degree is in Maths / IT. I played professionally for a while, but now I'm a software developer. I guess both jobs relate to my degree. I'm fairly sure that makes me awesome.

I have a degree in Marketing.

I'm 25 now and just finished in May. I gave thought to going back for Accounting, but Im not sure.

I just think I'm [censored] b/c I have a degree in Marketing!?! I didn't do any internships b/c I was working all through college (to pay for college, instead of a future like I should've). I've spent the last 18 or so months playing poker for a living. I'm running bad and playing worse on my way to busto (which blows if you don;t live at home).

Any job I can get right now through connections pays in the range of 30k/year. Even when I was running better, I was still constantly thinking of WTF I was going to do w/ my life. Now that I'm no longer living comfortably, I'm sick to my stomach thinking about the future.

i hear you, good luck man

yes, tech support (oddly enough i like it - for now - however, I would like to move into a project manager or just manager position eventually).

for the guy who posted 30k for sales job...I'm assuming this is only your base salary and that you would be making at least 80-100% more on commission?
