Default Flop decision with 1 overcard and gutshot

This was a hand from my review buddy. I'm interested in what everybody does on the flop, specifically how you count your outs.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, SB calls, Hero ...?

fold.

throw another caller in there and i'd call closing the action. in that case the pot would be 7sb by the time it hit me (4sb going to the flop then a bet and two calls).

I think your 4 straight outs are clean. Unless UTG is a fish and limped KQ. IMO this is an easy fold. Pot is tiny. Your basically have the 4 straight outs outs and maybe, maybe not 1-1.5 outs for the K.

Clear fold.

Outs: you have a gutshot with one card, it's not to the nuts and you will sometimes split the pot. At the same time this isn't very probable, so something like 3/3.5 outs should be right. The king could win sometime, but you could also hit a dominated hand or be resucked on the river. I give you 1/1.5 outs for the K. 0 outs for the 8. So you have something like 4/5 outs.

Fold. If you are putting bets in you should be the one leading at the flop.

we have 4 outs to 9's, 1.5 outs to K's = 5.5 outs = 7:1. Pot odds are 5:1, so it's a fold.
