Re: What\'s your word or catch phrase?
--My standard greeting is an Andy Sipowicz, "How's it going." Note that it's not a question.
--My alternate greeting was stolen directly from an old friend of mine: "What's going on there, Champion?" Try it some time, it's really fun. --In an effort to keep words like "sweetie" from coming out of my mouth in the workplace, I often address female co-workers as "kid". Not condescendingly, but affectionately, like Humphrey Bogart would say it. --Whenever somebody finally gets the point, I love to hit him with Jon Lovitz' second-best line from A League of Their Own: "Well, look who just caught up!" Lovitz' best line from that movie, of course, was, "If I had your job, I'd kill myself!" |

Re: What\'s your word or catch phrase?
I like to use the phrase:
"I like my blank like I like my women ... blank" but often filling the blanks with stuff that doesn't really sound sexy or sensical. For instance, my friend asks what I want on my pizza and I reply "I like my pizza like I like my women ... covered with pepperonis and extra cheese." I guess that does sound sexual. I use it mostly when asked for my opinion on something. |
