Default Las Vegas casino advise

I play 1-2NL holdem 6 times a week at my local casino in New Mexico. I am planning on going to Las Vegas for about 2-3 days just to see how the games are there.

My questions for you guys that either live there or have gone to play there are these:

Do pretty much the majority or all the casinos on the strip have consistent 1/2NL games going on?

Are there casinos that are recommended over others?

Are the big named ones (Golden Nugget, Bellagio, etc) better or worse than the other ones for my purposes?

And pretty much anything you can give me as advise. I am planning on taking just 2 buy ins (same amount I would use locally in New Mexico) and staying for 2 days. This wouldn't be considered a vacation nor a "gambling spree". But rather a cheap (I might drive there) trip in order to see how the playing is over there.

Ok, www.allvegaspoker.com is where you want to start since this question is easily asked 5x a week nowadays.

Next, Bellagio doesn't spread 1/2 NL, 2/5 is their minimum NL game.

Third, NL is soft everywhere, and yes most places spread either 1/2 or 1/3 NL now. You aren't going to see a big difference in the games from the Golden Nugget to the Excalibur. It's a tourist town and 99% of the people playing 1/2 are out to gamble and have a good time. You aren't going to make a living playing this game if that's what you're considering coming here for to "see how the games are".

2 Buy ins is all you are bringing? Stay home.
