Default crypto checks in mail

So regarding the Crypto sites closing accounts and sending checks to US customers, does anobody know if these checks can actually be cashed, considering the new legislation ?

The checks will be from "E Cash Direct" not "InterPoker" so I'm guessing yes. Plus banks have 270 days to comply with the new law (assuming it's signed when teh checks arrived)

Worse comes to worse, you can take it to some fly by night 24/7 check cashing place and they'll certainly cash it (minus whatever fee they charge)

Yeah, your money will be fine. There is a good chance you won't be getting bakerack for september though. Goodbye $900...

Hi MHunt,

I can only speak for InterPoker but to answer this question, after having taken legal advice our checks will be valid as they come from a major european bank that is part of the european banking federation and therefore must be honoured by any bank in the world.

Ryan:

How come you repeatdly ignore questions, comments about rakeback. Is it included or not. My rakeback site says that it comes directly from interpoker on the 5th of the next month which would be today

Hi Jimmychan,

I didn't think I was ignoring anyone's concerns, but to clarify with regards to the rakebacks, we have put all rakebacks into our US players accounts just before we had to suspend them. All US players should therefore have this balance within their accounts and this balance will be sent to them via check.

with regards to bonuses, Poker had been on a reward basis from September which a player had to clear in order to receive their bonus. The majority of the US players had met their requirements in September and therefore we have given them their rewards prior to suspending their accounts. Again this amount will be included in the check sent out to them

regards

Thanks

Before it just seemed like you answered every question about payment except for rakeback questions. Maybe I just missed a response.

Also another question are MPP points being changed to cash?
