Villain was a bit on the lose side. I figured he had KK/QQ/KQ and that I could stack him if I hit. What are your thoughts?

I probably prefer c/r the turn and am happy to see a free card.
As played fold. You are behind everything with only 1 card to come. I keep my chips. |

I call. The pot odds are there already without even needing any implied odds. 15 outs in 45 cards, and you only have to call 625 chips into a total pot of 1970. With implied odds I think it's mandatory to take a card off. You almost certainly stack him on aces and nines and may well stack him on a club.
Edit: I suppose we should make that 13.5 outs, since the Qc/7c may well not be outs. In that case pot odds are just barely not there, but with implied odds it's still a call. |

I only call here if you think villain will pay you off when you hit.
As for three-betting, I see little fold equity there. |

Call see ChrisV for why. Also villain will pay off on most rivers that you hit.

Easy call based on pot odds. Hopefully he is bad enough to be slowplaying a set on that flop though I suppose this is unlikely at the 55s ( I don't play that high but I see this crap all the time at the 11s).

Just based on odds, then you have enough to call his turn raise. You're probably going to be able to stack him if you hit, and if you lose, you're still left with 1K in chips which is enough to mount a comeback with given that the blinds are still low compared to your stack. But I think your bet on the turn was too large, it would be very hard to fold out that many players. I think I like to bet less or C/C on the turn.
