I don't know of any books but there are a lot of great links here. A few good ones are:

I play only one table at pacific 1/2$ atm. I do that cause I want to learn to play decent poker & cause I want to learn how to read other players.

That Said, here's my problem: I usualy play about 5 hours nonstop on the weekend days, and after the 2nd hour or sometimes earlier, i find myself bored to death with the game: I dont pay attention to the other players, I chat in irc & icq with ppl etc.

Take a 5 minute break at the end of each hour.

If you really want to learn to read players, start taking notes on paper. Make guesses at their hand ranges and do quick hand counts to see how often you're ahead/behind. Keep track of unusual plays and loose flop calls. All of the activity should keep your mind active.

If want to learn to play decent poker keep doing what you are doing. If want to learn to play great poker challenge yourself to hand reading, plus post and read this forum as much as possible. Get PokerTtracker and start taking notes. PT will help you find leaks and get some reads on other people.

Another suggestion is to drop down a limit or two and multi-table. Sounds like your BR may not be able to support 2 tables are your current limit.

Multitabling is a valuable skill, and it REALLY reduces boredom. Other than that, try music or TV. But it's got to be almost impossible to focus intently on those other players for 5 hours, especially if you aren't in hands with them.
