Not sure who to vote for. Either DeWine the Republican or Sherrod Brown, current house Dem. who voted for the initial ban.

For the Arizona People...

Since Jim Pederson isn't much of an option take a look at the Libertarian candidate Richard Mack.

I'm not sure either. Can't really fault someone for voting for it since it was wrapped up in a much larger piece of legislation. And for a Republican DeWine is pretty good.

Lets make sure to keep voting. Two years from now it is just as important to elect your Congressman in or out as you see fit. Every election is critical, Federal and local. If you have a laissez faire attitude toward politics then you have noone to blame but yourself.

Our beloved party has been hijacked by the Christian right. Makes me sick to my stomach. I simply can't comprehend how it's come to this (talking in general, not only the recent gambling legislation).

Minor point, but Goodlatte is from my old district in Virginia, and he runs unopposed every 2 years, so he's not going anywhere until he chooses to.

Goodlatte: This is the face of one of the guys who wants to take away your right to play poker.

http://www.vote-smart.org/bio.php?can_id=H4102103

What a tight ass looking guy.

Look at all his anti-gambling speeches
http://www.vote-smart.org/speech.php?can_id=H4102103

Goodlatte is not running unopposed, he has 2 challengers (Dem, Ind) this year:

http://www.vote-smart.org/bio.php?can_id=MVA26819

Remember not voting for a candidate takes 1 vote away. Voting for their opponent is like taking 2 away.
------------
Mack is Libertarian running against Kyl.

He checked box saying "Regulating the Internet is not a responsibility of the federal government."

Sam T. - did Kyl's son have a gambling problem or something? Too many weekend trips to Vegas?

Look at the kind of B.S. Kyl has been spewing in public for years. Just one example in March 2003 (conveniently during March Madness):

Sounds like he got it from the old "Reefer Madness" movie.
