Default the flop peel

same 40/80 game at the borg.

at this point I am still running sick good. (up like 60 bbs at this point)

kinda tight/weak limps utg, I raise next in line with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], tight/old guy (tog) 3bets, folded around, utg calls, I call.

flop is K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

utg checks, I check, tog bets, utg folds, I peel?

Looking back on it, I think this might have been a mistake. Against a reasonable 3-betting range, I'm only ahead of AQ, TT and only drawing marginally live against AQ, against everything else I need to spike a jack. the bd flush draw adds some, but I'm not sold on the peel.

getting 10:1, i definately peel here, you have 5 most likely clean outs, plus back-door straight and flush outs if you are behind

He only has 5 outs vs AQ/TT/99 and is in serious trouble vs AA/KK/JJ/AK. Then you have to take into account the times when villain has AA/AK and you spike an A, or villain has KK/JJ and you spike any of your supposed 5 outs.

I think having two backdoor draws are what get me to call here, you have outs, but none of them are especially clean when reraised by a rock.

I can see how a tighter(better) player would fold here though.

yeah, actually his outs arent all that clean, but i think this is a peel because of the backdoor outs/potential for maybe having the best hand

id give 1.5 for the flush, maybe .5 for the straight(split possibility) and then like 3 outs for his 2 pair/trip possibility, then maybe like another .5 becuase he might have the best hand or see a river for free against this guy

still makes this a peel in my oppinion

I'd peel, too, but upon reflection I would have been wrong.

Yeah, but I'm a gambooooler, the trick is to yell "implied odds" at your monitor.

Why are you bringing a monitor to live games?
