BamaJo has been very passive up to that point, which makes me think he hasn't got jacks or a buried pair. Two pair would probably be good if he doesn't get scarier. So you can hope for any of one 5, two Qs, two Js, or two 3s. 7 outs getting only 3.5:1 to call. I'd say a call would be a little loose.

I have to have a good reason to call with one pair against an overpair, 5th is a pretty clear fold to any bet. Even if he doesnt have 2 pair or better he can still improve and if he does your down to only a couple outs.

Your either a little behind or waaaayyyy behind. good thing he gave you the free card

Unless the table is especially tight at this point, I would probably bring this one in for the minimum with the intention of folding to a completion. Having two of your kicker out hurts. You do have a live, concealed pair, but it is really small. If anyone plays with you, he probably has you beaten, and if he doesn't, then he almost has to have three over-cards to your pair, so it's not like you're in terrific shape.

You played the rest of the hand well, in my estimation. If the other guy had bet his open Nines on fifth, you would have had no choice but to fold. The pot is pretty small, there's a pretty good chance that you're beaten at that point, and your cards are falling dead.
