Both are financial transactions, which are prohibited.

The new Bill/Law has no affect on withdraws..A financial institution will continue process ALL deposits regardless of sender in relation to gaming..

“Restricted transaction” means any transmittal of money involved with unlawful Internet gambling.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's moot anyway as Party has already announced they will not accept wagers from US players once the bill goes into effect.

What is the impact of the Act on our business?

PartyGaming will no longer accept wagers from US Customers once the Act becomes Law.

Customers resident in the United States or accessing us from US will no longer be able to access our real money gaming services. Customers will still be able to use the play money and any non-gambling services we may offer. They will also be able to cash out their present balance if they wish to.

There will be no impact on non-US customers.

Taken verbaitem off of the party poker affiliate pages.

So all the sharks who do not need to deposit will stay, and all the fish who cannot reload will leave.

So they are just suspending deposits on US accounts until they find new ways to fund them? Sorry if this has already been posted

[/ QUOTE ]

Sounds to me more like they're looking for something that isn't covered by the law to sell us.
