The Fulltilt guys can all crash at Humberto's pad until the heat dies down. I don't think we'll be seeing Lederer in cuffs anytime soon.

Not true. If the gambling site accepts money from a U.S. citizen, it is violating U.S. law and subject to civil and criminal penalties.
Howard better get good legal advice, or he's liable to spend several years with a large, hairy roommate if he's not careful. |

Even if people who operate gambling sites live outside the U.S., they still have to worry about the U.S. government having them extradited to the U.S. [/ QUOTE ]The rest of the civilized world is of the opinion that online-gaming is legal and would likely not extradite a violator to the US. Now sure the US can snap them up but extradition is incredibly unlikely. |

I hope Lederer and the rest get rounded up in the paddy wagon and shipped off to the slammer. That'd make great press and raise some actual awareness to the casual players about how dumb this legislation is.
Honestly, the best thing the Feds can do for our cause is to go grab Doyle, slap some cuffs on him and send him to prison. My grandmother even knows who Doyle Brunson is, and seeing him arrested would motivate even her to make some phone calls (the 80 year old women loves poker on TV). |

1 - Howard is the president of Tiltware, a shell company that develops the software for Full Tilt. Tiltware and Full Tilt have or are in the process of relocating to Ireland, it is believed that Howard is the president in absentee of Full Tilt but there is no way to prove this.
2 - American companies who provide material support for gambling companies can now be considered accessories. For example Crypto (a publicly traded company in the US) has a lot to worry about. The DOJ could have arrested Howard earlier if he was the president of Full Tilt, now they can do so by providing support. 3 - The companies who remain in the US will most likely do so without any marketing what so ever because they wont be able to get any material support in the US. |
