I've been bitching for years about the moral majority, yet those wearing red sweaters kept cheering for their team.

And for those who keep cheering for the red team saying "how many dems voted against the port security bill"? This is just plain retarded. A better question would be, how many republicans voted for the resolutions that are the underpinnings of this bill? All of them? Well nearly.

Actually, this whole thing doesn't exist without Bush's signature. Without it, this is just a rant by Bill Frist and likeminded Christian Fundamentalists... His party controls the House and the Senate, and, effectively, the Supreme Court. It's his government, loaded with people he helped elect and raise money to put in office.

None of this legislation exists without the GOP, and it never becomes law without his signature.
