Don't know if we'll get an honest answer to this one or not but here it is:
Would you play for any sizable stakes from your computer screen with a company insider? How about the chief tech officer's son or wife? Would you play 25/50 no limit with any of these people or any number of others? How about any of the organized crime people who like to play online who will beat the crap out of the software manager when they lose???
No, that kind of stuff just doesn't happen does it.
Online poker and other gambling is the perfect tailor made situation for fraud, there is no better scam available. Geez, good thieves at a live game can steal you blind, and you see the deck and watch it be dealt. And just because any particular player is making money doesn't mean cheating isn't going on in a big way. A group of players could be scamming just a 1% edge in the deal and make a ridiculous amount of money.
LOL

Can't bust the $6 SNG's, HUH?

Tough.

Go back to peddling bibles door to door.

Don't care one way or the other who's president.

You know this goes on as well as I do. Players who are winning will say it can't happen they want the fish jumpin in there with confidence. Some people are just plain naive. They've been using a computer throughout their childhood and take what they see as reality.
I have an acquaintance (not a friend) with one poker account in his own name and one in a relative's name. He plays with one computer, which has dsl, and his laptop, which has a wireless connection from another provider.
He is a teacher and makes a nice summer income playing 5-10 holdem. If you are sitting at that table he has a percentage on you. Good luck to you cause he can see two cards that you cannot, and he will take all your money eventually. And he is just a schlub with a computer with no connections to anyone at the site.
You are a fool if you don't think a poker game where you can't see the players, or the deck, isn't prime territory for cheating.
gimme a break
