I keep getting a spyware alert whenever I land on the 2+2 homepage
I was pretty surprised, but Kaspersky keeps telling me that opening the Home page on 2+2 is triggering a malware alert.

I don't understand people "complaining" about malware and spyware. Use firefox ...
I've been using Firefox for about 2 yeas. Before when I used IE I routinely ran spybot and ad-aware to remove dozens of things every week. I haven't had to remove a single one since I've been using firefox.

I run Firefox, too and agrre. However, if for some reason you want to run IE, be sure to turn off Active-x in the security settings for the Internet zone. If there is a site that you must access thet uses active-x controls, and you really trust it you can put that site in the trusted zone and enable active-x for the trusted zone. Active-X is how most of the spyware, etc. gets in, and you should not enable it unless you are absolutely certain that the site is trustworthy. If you do allow any Active-x components to run, do it under a restricted account, not an administtrator or power user account. Active-x allows a web site to run just about anything on your computer with the priveleges of the user running IE (and there are a lot of holes that may allow higher privelges). It is the primary reason that IE has become the preferred method for scumbags to install spyware and viruses on your machine.
