Default UB Bots Running Rampant

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. The bots I'm encountering are all playing in middle limit short-handed games.

Let me preface what I'm about to say by telling you that I'm a very successful online pro that's been playing for close to five years now. I don't in any way believe online poker is rigged, I have hundreds of thousands of reasons to believe otherwise. I'm not a conspiracy theorist either.

That being said, I'm one hundred percent sure there are at least twenty and more likely thirty or forty bots playing in the UB 3-6 to 30-60 games right now. I've been playing in their middle limit games for years, primarily playing heads up. It was very rare to run into two players that played very similiar. At this point, I've run into thirty people that play nearly identical.

I've made a list of potential bots below. I'd like to stress the word potential. It is very possible that one or two of these people are not bots but just fall into the pfr and vpip ranges I've been looking at. All of these bots buy in for 250 at 5-10, 500 at 10-20, 1000 at 15-30, and 1500 at 30-60. None of them chat. They are usually sitting alone at tables but will join within a minute or two if you sit at an empty table. By the time the table is six-handed, there's generally 2 bots in the game. I have yet to notice any type of collusion between the bots.

In heads up games, the bots raise 80% on average from the button and re-raise 30% from the big blind (this # is high imo). In 3-Handed Games, they raise about 65% of the time from the button. There are many, many other similarities too but I don't have time to post them all. Keep in mind that UB is not a big site like Party Poker. If you were to datamine Party, you could come up with a list like this. FYI- None of my data is from dataming. All the hands I have in PT are hands I've played. On UB, it is unheard of to have this many people at the middle limits playing the same way. I know because I've played there every day for the last three years.

The bots are beatable, especially since they all play identical and don't adjust very well. However, I would guess the bots are making huge sums of money at thoses limits. I would rate them in the top 5% of the players I play against.

I would appreciate it, if anyone recognizes a name they know is not a bot to let me know. I'm in the process of bringing this to the attention of a lot of different UB people. To this point, I haven't received a response.

"You and Mr. Gatorade need to hook up"

Now that's a scary thought.

So far, I'm getting nowhere with support which is to be expected. I have other contacts but they're all busy with the Aruba Tournament - the final table is today.

Does anyone have Leggy or PokerHo's email address?

piranha,

this bot problem has been uncovered and discussed on 2p2 before. i think it was back in march/april when a series of threads discussed it. i think there were fewer known bots then. check the heads up forum.
