adderall...who uses it?
ok i just tried this for the first time tonight (midnight EST) and i have to say, despite being completely wired at 545am, the results are quite amazing. i was able to write a 5pg paper on a subject i had no clue about until starting the paper in about 2hrs then another paper in about 1/2hr...and after re-reading them they're not complete garbage!!
anyway, i dont have a prescription for them or anything and i have never been tested for add/adhd, though i do find myself getting distracted easily when trying to get schoolwork done. so i was just wondering what other student's experiences with adderall have been, whether you have an Rx or not. (fwiw i took 1 20mg XR) good/bad? side effects? addiction?

Adderall did wonders for me during finals and big paper crunches, don't have a scrip for it. It really does help and for me at least lets me grind out hours of studying or whatever I need to do. Also from what I hear, it's ridiculously easy to get a scrip for it since the doctors hand it out like candy.

yea i figured if i really wanted to i could prolly get an Rx for it. is it easy not to use it if you have a light homework load one night or use it for something else that isn't very important?...aka, is it easy to get addicted to it? seems like you use it whenever you feel like it which is what i hope to do if i continue to use it.

Yeah save it for all-nighters and term papers. Don't do it for small assignments.
And don't crush it and snort it.

been using it semi regularly since junior year of HS. never had a rx, but I'm in the process of getting one now. If you use it a lot it becomes less effective and can become somewhat of a crutch, but it can be immensely powerful and useful. Not coincidentally, it's also amazing for poker.
