Default College football watching in Vegas

I'll be in Vegas the weekend of the Michigan/Michigan State game and wondered if there was some bitchinly awesome place to watch football. Obviously, the sportsbooks are an option as are any sports bar-type places but I figured I'd post and see if there is one place that is particularly good.

Mandalay Bay has very comfy chairs and a gregarious atmosphere. Popular, though, you may want to be there early.

I thought the Red Rocks sports book was very nice.

Very nice one in fact.

But for any football, you really have to get there very early to get any type of seat in the book or at the bars.

Great places to watch football games in Vegas are the sports books. Some of my favorites include Mandalay, Caesars, and Bellagio. Red Rock has a very nice sports book also. Green Valley Ranch's new sports book opens next week, and should be pretty sick. Even Excalibur recently remodeled its sports book, and it looks great.

But as others have stated, the problem is that you need to get to the sports book around 7:30-8 AM to even have a shot at landing a premium seat. If you're going with friends, and need multiple seats, then you might want to arrive even earlier at the best sports books.

The cool thing is that once you 'acquire' your seat, it's yours for the day! As long as some drunk grumpy nit doesn't sit down in it when you get up for a bathroom break.

I'll be at the best place to watch the game: The Big House.

The Bellagio has nice big screens but they keep the sound so low you can't hear the commentary.

I like MGM. Wynn is cozy too, and they offer little carrels with your own sound and 8" TV.

Las Vegas Club downtown.....well actually right across the street from it. Mmmmmmmm dancers.
Who cares about college football when there are strippers right across the street.

Heh and the only reason I said Vegas Club is because the TV's are too small the bar is too small but since no one ever uses them it's like being a king.

Sorry for the hijak but i'm specifiacally interested in the Texas A&M vs. Texas Tech game this weekend. The game is on ABC but only in that region. So it WILL be on ESPN GAMEPLAN and any bar that has that should carry it. But what i want is somewhere where i can have audio ...Any suggestions on that in vegas?
