Re: Heads up with when you know ONE of opponents cards - best strategy
I would keep the pots small preflop (maybe never even raise preflop). Obvious fold A2 A3, and I guess A4 and A5. I would imagine this is very +ev for you.
Edit: Oh is this a freezeout or a cash game with reloading? You have alot less edge in a freezeout. |

Re: best strategy?

[ QUOTE ] One thing to note is that your opponent is going to have AA about once every 20 hands. And he's have either AA, AK, or AQ 20% of the time. [/ QUOTE ]Exactly. OP is going to lose. bad. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, but the villian is going to know that the OP knows that he has an ace. In a limit game no chance, in NL with big enough stacks, he just needs to confuse him in one big pot. |

Re: Heads up with when you know ONE of opponents cards - best strategy
Wow. I really didn't think I was going to be a dog in this fight. It is a freezeout with 100bb and my original strategy was to limp in every hand - regardless of cards. If I flop 2 pair or better, try and trap the guy in a big pot. Any ideas better than this? Any suggestions on what to do if he raises every hand? (push with any pair maybe?) I am really new to NL so all your advice is really helpful.
