If you bet more on the river do you still fold to raise?

I don't see what I beat on the board, seems like everything got there...

I wouldn't call in hand 1, no way.

I would have bet the turn though, lots worse hands will still call and if you check you are no better off and will probably end up putting in the same amount of $ as a bet. If he raises you can be happy to fold. As it played out you have to bet more on the river, you hand is very under represented and jacks will pay off way more than your bet.

I think hand #1 is an easy fold. u beat absolutely 3 hands. one pair jacks.a pair of queens or a bluff. that is it.

Hands that do beat u, 9T, TJ, 78, KQ, Any 2 hearts, 22, 99, TT, JJ, AA, ur way behind almost all the time

I think a call here over the long run will make u go broke many times over.

Hand #2
I call river bet on. Well actually, depends on the opp but it seems like way to big of a bet for a made flush and also why would he be trying to push u off ur hand if he had a full house. I see Ax here alot. as well as i do see u losing here sometimes as well 2 a bigger ace and a flush obv. i still think the bet seems like he doesn't want you to call. He has a good hand but not a super strong hand.

Although im a donkey so u can basically flame away now

maybe this is why yvs is good and i'm not haha.

Fold both. I like how you played except for preflop with AT.

I take it preflop is usually a fold there...but even if you have a semi-aggressive CO who is opening frequently?

Hand 1: Bet more on the flop. Such a draw-ful board deserves a pot-sized bet, at least. When all the draws get there on the turn, you might stick another bet out there, maybe a little over half pot, and be done with it.

Hand 2: Several people have said that they like how you played it (except preflop). I don't get it -- you flopped trips and you never made a peep! Sure, your kicker is a little weak, but calling it down isn't the answer unless villain is pretty passive. Raise on the flop. If he just calls, then he is worried about his kicker, too, or else he figures you are FOS. If he 3-bets the flop, fold. If he calls but bets the turn, tough choice. If he calls and checks the turn, check behind, but then call his river bet.

As played, I think the turn hit his QQ or AQ, or maybe he just knows his AK is good, or maybe he thinks his KK is good. You've been so passive, he certainly doesn't have much of a read. He bet the river like he is no longer looking for a cheap showdown, so you're probably behind. But think how sick you'll feel to find that 5 just hit his Presto.
