Re: royal draw 5/10
Preflop huh? Once the SB calls, autocall preflop.

Re: royal draw 5/10
didnt see villain was 34/26. i probably re-raise now that i've noticed that. i really don't like the call that much. just leads to your getting outplayed postflop more often than not. but i admit that it's probably better than a fold against a 34/26 player even if he is raising UTG. although i think it's close. KQ is definitely a better call or re-raise than fold.

Re: royal draw 5/10
QJs sux. especially against KQ, KJ, AQ, AJ, JJ, QQ, KK, AA. maybe you don't realise that those hands make up a large part of a normal person's raising range UTG?

Re: royal draw 5/10
how much of a difference do you think SB being in the hand matters compared with the chance of being dominated? against a good 25/15 utg raiser, no way i'm calling QJs even with SB padding the pot.

Re: royal draw 5/10
yea mine too. not folding here. $25 is almost irrevalant to the stack sizes. boardway draw rules if you flop that. you have lots of flexiability in the play of the hand often and these guys are pretty dam easy to read anyway.
The hand, i would bet-3bet if he will raise the flop with hands he'll fold to the 3 bet with. I'd c/r if he would always bet this flop. I'd c/c if he had good frequency of c-bet and the 3betting rule above doesn't apply. As a default i think it's checkcall-pick up turn if checked behind. |
