I am a Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX, and RE/MAX provides me with an email address called (myname)@remax.net.
Unfortunately, they dont actually host the email. For me to get it, I have to go to the RE/MAX agent site and have the email forwarded to another email address. I then access the email through Outlook. Here is my problem: I want all of my reply emails to just say the (myname)@remax.net. I don't want them to refer to the proxy email at all. Is there a setting I can use in Outlook so that I can make this happen? I hope I have explained this OK....I have a feeling that this is a simple fix, but I am stumped. Thanks! |

tools/accounts/email accts....you can set your return address there. (No outlook here to double check the specifics, but it's in there someplace)
One thing to note tho...some ISP's mail servers will reject return/reply to addresses that don't match their domain. If your ISP is a residential verizon account and your return email address does NOT say <blah>@verizon.net then they won't allow it to be sent. This will vary according to your ISP. Some may even add to their filter to allow yours to be accepted if you call them. The ISP's that do this started it as an anti-spam measure. It's marginally effective if that these days. |
