Rough & ready conversion:
F->C subtract 30 & divide by 2
C->F, double & add 30.

Works within a couple of degrees most of the time, and unless you are growing marijuana hydroponically, that's all you generally need.

Noted. I just thought the whole debate was pointless: we're not gonna change for myriad reasons, so enough with the "our way is better" stuff. No...whatever we're all used to is what's better, because it poses the least complications to our daily lives. I'll humbly retreat from this thread now.
