QTs, BB vs. TAG
Villian is a TAG. I haven't played a ton against this guy, but he seems decent and hasn't done anything out of the norm.
I am trying to work on hands against better players. I really want to fold this turn. Yes? No? Party Poker Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $5/$10 5 players Converter Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises</font>, Button folds, Hero calls, BB calls. Re: QTs, BB vs. TAG
Ugh. I hate spots like this because this is usually a monster but I am really bad at folding TPGK in a HU pot.

Re: QTs, BB vs. TAG
I would just fold PF against a CO raise. Against a TAG's button raise I'd 3 bet PF.
I wouldn't fold. He could easily have made a loose peel on the flop with AJ or KJ and be raising that. Maybe he's freeshowdowning A8 or a pocket pair. Maybe he's semibluffing a combo draw like K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. |

Results: Final pot: 11BB [/ QUOTE ] Your not calling here with this hand against an aggressive player? This is a pretty standard call for me here against most players. Anyways, the preflop stuff is never that exciting. I to typically tend to calldown top pair a lot, but I think sometimes I do it too much, especially against decent TAGs that are typically likely to play pretty straightforward. I think you may be right about the fold here, but I just am not sure that TAGs are freeshowdown raising other TAGs in spots like these often at 5/10 (at least as often as they probably should.) |

Re: QTs, BB vs. TAG
dont call pf unless the bb is really terrible. u would much rather play heads up w the initiative than three-ways playing fit or fold. i would typically fold unless i am stuck for the day in which case a raise is mandatory

I would just call down. I'm not much for folding pairs versus aggressive opponents, much less top pair. |

Agree fold pf. Probably a call down as played
