WPEX still requires adjustments to be made due to rake, even with 100% RB. The only exception is HU play.

WPEX calculates rake as it is contributed. I'm not sure I understand where you're coming from.

It doesn't. The rake taken is divided between all players dealt into that hand.

I don't think thats correct.

According to the numereous WPEX gm threads in the zoo the rake rebate calculation is done by dividing a player's contribution to the pot by the amount raked. I don't see how this could affect much strategically.

Those threads are wrong.



I sat down at a 5 handed 1/2 table and played 1 orbit. I folded every hand preflop and then sat out when it was my BB. My VPIP was 0.

Over this sample my opponents played one raked pot. It was raked for $1 and the table was 4 handed when it was dealt. I folded preflop.

After I left the table.



I gained $0.25, or 1/4th of the $1 that was raked.

The strategy implications are obvious.
