Check Rasing
So I was checking my lil PkrTracker database.
I have played about 12,000 hands of NL200 6max. I have checked raised 48 times. Only once on the river. I'm feeling pretty good about my game and the BET BET BET strategy is working but maybe I should start checkrasing more. There's many times where I feel that my bet won't get called (Often in HU pots) but I bet anyway with my two pair or whatever instead of letting my opponent get a chance to bet. Then again, most guys at NL200 are often pretty passive. So, how often do you guys checkraise? Is it something that you use alot? Rob |

Re: Check Rasing
check raising is a beast, but betting out is kewl too.. it's situational and dependent upon pot size what reads you have on their hand etc.

Re: Check Rasing
IMO, you could be a very very solid winner at SSNL and not C/R once.
The main times I do it are during a stack-a-donk line and to trap dead money using reletive position on the flop |
