River: ($84) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets $75, Hero pushes all in. Villain Calls for another $232. Final Pot : $695 He shows 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] My Question is, should I have pushed this river ? I like the way I played it to the river. I am thinking if I raise and face a re-raise I am not folding as I am pot committed anyway. However is this maybe only a call on the river given the paired board... Thoughts appreciated... |

Based on your read of the villain I think you played this hand fine. You could have put a bet out on the turn when you got the nut flush draw. But a fishy villain would have called and you two would have played out the river the same way anyhow.

a lot more of the time hell turn over a straight or a random 9 that hes going to pay you off with for a full stack.
