The solution to the Giants' offensive problems is not to fall behind by 20 every game.
It's also to construct a defense that doesn't look like a Tecmo Super Bowl d on Week 1. How hard is it to throw 10 yard out patterns all the way down the field? That's all they do, all game - and it works. Offensive coordinators preparing for the Giants must keep lots of towels on hand in the video room to wipe up all the drool - how hard is it to beat a team with no pass rush and no ability to cover? |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You win games by scoring more points than the other team. The Giants failed to score more than the other team. Thus, the Giants need to score more points. [/ QUOTE ] This is hard to do when you give up 35 points in the first half. [/ QUOTE ] Well it can't be too hard if the other team JUST SCORED 35 POINTS IN THE FIRST HALF. [/ QUOTE ] Few, if any, pass defenses play as poorly as the Giants (we ) did in the first half against Seattle. As a football team, the Giants need to get much better against the pass. That's our biggest problem right now. Offensively, we need to cut out the "extraneous" penalties (our wideouts have been flagged an obscene number of times this year), and it wouldn't hurt if Plax and Shockey hung onto the ball every once in a while. -McGee |

I have no idea how to fix the Giants D (although it probably has something to do with firing the secondary coach and making a few upgrades there). Read the title people.
